About John Cook
JOHN COOK (Colonel–Retired) is senior pastor at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, N.C. In 2009, he retired from the Army as a chaplain with 26 years on active duty, which included serving as senior chaplain of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a graduate of West Point (1979) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (1987), and formerly served as pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church in Hardinsburg, Kentucky.
